Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Letters from Future You, a waitlist and early access website operated by Soverum LLC ("Letters from Future You," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, waitlist forms, emails, content, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service or submitting information, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

The Service

Letters from Future You is preparing personalized email content designed to support goal reflection, visualization, accountability, and daily action. The current Service lets you join the waitlist and share interest in the first version.

We may change, suspend, improve, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also modify features, delivery timing, personalization methods, pricing, or content formats before launch.

No Professional Advice

The Service is for informational, motivational, reflective, and educational purposes only. It is not medical, mental health, therapy, coaching, legal, financial, tax, employment, investment, fitness, nutrition, relationship, safety, or other professional advice. We do not guarantee that any letter, suggestion, plan, or prompt is appropriate for your circumstances.

You are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, health, safety, finances, relationships, career, and outcomes. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions that could affect your health, safety, legal rights, finances, or other important interests.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and have authority to agree to these Terms.

Accounts and Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to update it as needed. You are responsible for the information you submit, including your name, email address, goal details, preferences, and feedback.

You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your waitlist information has been accessed or used without authorization.

Waitlist and Future Paid Services

Joining the waitlist is free and does not create a paid subscription. If we later offer paid subscriptions, billing terms, prices, renewal dates, taxes, payment methods, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase.

You may leave the waitlist by contacting us or using unsubscribe links in emails where available.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else misuse it. You may not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, harass or harm others, submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, hateful, exploitative, or harmful content, interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer or scrape the Service, overload our systems, bypass security measures, use the Service to generate spam or malicious content, copy or resell the Service, or use the Service in a way that could damage us, our users, our service providers, or the public.

Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including the website, branding, trade names, design, templates, prompts, workflows, generated letter format, software, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

User Submissions

You retain ownership of information, content, goals, notes, reflections, feedback, and other materials you submit to the Service ("User Submissions"). You are responsible for your User Submissions and represent that you have the rights necessary to provide them.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, modify, process, transmit, display, create derivative works from, and otherwise use your User Submissions as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, personalize, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You should not submit sensitive information unless you are comfortable with us processing it to provide the Service. The Service is not designed to collect medical records, therapy records, government identification numbers, precise financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive information.

AI-Assisted Content

The Service may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to help generate personalized letters and related content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to follow any suggestion, prompt, or action item.

We do not guarantee that any AI-assisted content will produce a particular result, emotional state, business outcome, financial outcome, health outcome, personal outcome, or goal achievement.

Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, testimonials, comments, or other feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided that our use of any Personal Information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party services, including Google Forms, email platforms, analytics providers, hosting providers, customer support tools, automation tools, and AI providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, policies, content, security, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated Terms, sending an email, or using another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and course of performance.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, timely, accurate, personalized to your satisfaction, or that any specific outcome, habit, milestone, manifestation, dream, or goal will be achieved.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, personal decisions, or failure to achieve a goal, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soverum LLC, Letters from Future You, and our owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, User Submissions, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of rights of another person or entity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, remove content, or refuse service if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or others, or use the Service unlawfully or abusively. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may leave the waitlist as described above.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state where Soverum LLC is organized or principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and we agree to try to resolve disputes informally first by contacting hello@lettersfromfutureyou.com. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, but we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
